The Tarot Garden was born from an idea of Niki Saint Phalle who, after a visit to Gaudi’s Parque Guell in Barcelona, found her inspiration for the construction of 22 impressive sculptures depicting the major Tarot arcanes. The particularity of these statues are the mirrors and the coloured glass with which they are covered that create a magical play of colored lights with the glare of the sun. The path inside the park is a spiritual journey into the feelings and fears of Niki Saint Phalle.

Questo particolare parco artistico è situato nel comune di Capalbio in Provincia di Grosseto. Il Giardino dei Tarocchi nasce dal genio di Niki Saint Phalle che a seguito di una visita al Parque Guell di Gaudì a Barcellona trova la sua ispirazione per la costruzione di 22 imponenti sculture che raffigurano i maggiori arcani dei Tarocchi. La particolarità di queste statue sono gli specchi e i vetri colorati di cui sono ricoperte che con il riverbero del sole creano un magico giuoco di luci colorate. Il percorso all’interno del parco è un viaggio spirituale nei sentimenti e nelle paure di Niki Saint Phalle.
